The VA Community Care Network is an initiative by the Department of Veterans Affairs to provide veterans with quality health care services outside of VA facilities. This network allows veterans to receive care from local community providers when VA facilities are not readily accessible or cannot provide the required care. It covers a range of services, including long-term care, which is crucial for many veterans.
Our range of services includes:

The VA Aid and Attendance (A&A) Pension Benefit is a significant program offered by the Department of Veterans Affairs. It provides additional monetary assistance to qualified veterans and survivors who require aid with daily activities or are housebound. This benefit is crucial for those who need help with personal care functions due to various health conditions.
To be eligible for the A&A benefit, veterans or survivors must be receiving a VA pension and meet certain conditions. These include requiring assistance with activities like bathing, dressing, and feeding, being bedridden due to illness, being a patient in a nursing home due to mental or physical incapacity, or having severely limited eyesight. For the Housebound benefit, the individual must spend most of their time in their home due to a permanent disability.
The application process involves submitting a completed VA Form 21-2680 to the pension management center. Applicants can also provide additional evidence, such as a doctor’s report, to support their claim. For those in nursing homes, a Request for Nursing Home Information (VA Form 21-0779) is also required.
Avodah Home Care, a dedicated provider in the VA Community Care Network, extends its services to veterans who are eligible for the A&A Pension Benefit. Our commitment is to support these veterans by offering personalized care that caters to their unique needs.
